Nerikomi is an old technique in making patterns by cutting and stacking clay that has been colored by oxides or stains. Patterns produced are structural rather than painted on, which allows the potter to make detailed images or complex repetitive patterns on both sides of the clay slabs.

Nabila Nareswari from Narewari Studio always had a big interest in craft, where she delved deeper into the arts and pursued pottery, a long-time interest of hers. In this workshop, she will share the knowledge and ability to make pattern through this technique, so get your seats now by registering through the link in our Instagram bio!
