BYO Living

BYO Living is a hand-woven application for architecture, interior, and outdoor usage. The company has been developing new techniques and usability through craftsmanship and specializing in property development clients, contract projects, hotels, restaurants, and franchises.

This development was a visionary weaving technique allowing multidisciplinary functionality. For projects at a batik-manufacturing facility and a high-end hotel; a hundreds-of-square-meters facade would take six to eight weeks to the completion. They constantly develop new weaving patterns, such as batik parang and batik peranakan.

Since then, HMNS constantly making perfume wholeheartedly with the tagline “made for humans” – an affordable perfume that brings grandiose quality.

Keebon

The name Keebon is derived from the Indonesian word “Kebun,” which means “garden” or “field”. Specifically, “Kebun Jagung,” which directly translates to a cornfield, where corncob waste is sourced.

Here, they see issues such as the overabundance of agricultural waste, which is usually just left to be burned. Keebon, on the other hand, sees this as an opportunity of great potential.

Established in 2017, Mortier is a specialist in handmade home décor creation. Its industrial designs give minimalist yet sophisticated touch. Mortier’s establishment became the beginning of the desire to explore new materials with more value for society and most importantly, the environment. Utilizing plastic waste is their current sincere form of concern in maintaining environmental sustainability.

The process sequence starts with local waste pickers who collect various types of plastic waste. In their workshop, plastic waste is sorted, cleaned, the transformed into high-quality material to create a variety of interior products. Mortier also accepts product customization to best satisfy customers according to their preferences and style.

Pable sustainable fabrics are made from 100% textile and plastic waste recycled yarn, weaved with handwoven technique. The fabric characteristics are mainly based on the traits of the yarn they produce in one recycling process. Meanwhile, the yarn traits are heavily influenced by the quality of the recycled textile waste. It means fabrics will always differ in each production.

Meanwhile, Pable Sustainable Fibers are the first form of Pable Sustainable Fabrics that can be used as alternatives to many conventional materials. This method of production is known as Closed-Loop System, but they call it WE ARE CIRCULAR because everything is connected.

ROA Atelier is part of ROA Handwoven company, one of the pioneers of handwoven interior material in Indonesia. Involving the designer and clients, their custom design option offers not only a wider range of products but also personal experience working with our communities and their talents.

Inspired by the handmade process itself, ROA is playing with texture and weaving processes. The texture created by the intricate handmade process tells the story of these communities putting importance on being careful, patient, and diligent. Every knot shows you the passion in crafting the product.

Studio Dapur

Bamboo crafts have been so long underestimated for they are commonly made in haste and of low quality. People know bamboo for short-term, even disposable usage. An irony considering bamboo is our future green material.

Studio Dapur aims to cut the cycle by collaborating with the artisans in producing high-quality artisanal bamboo.

Making it higher in economic value so that the artisans are well paid. They are committed to giving back to the village by sharing 10% of the company. The profit will be accumulated for Financial Support, Livelihood Improvements, Research & Development, and Productivity Improvements.

By October 2021, Studio Dapur collaborates with 10 full-time artisans and 8 other partner craftsmen. Ten of them are women. Six are newly trained with no bamboo experience whose age under 35 years old.
